Civil Rights Act of 1997 (June 17, 1997)
Contains two main operative:
1.) The act prohibits federal government from requiring or encouraging federal contractiors, subcontractors, licenses or recipients of federal assistence, to discriminate or grant preferences to individuals on the basis of their rece, colo, national origin or sex in connection with federal employment, other progrms or activities.
2.) Prohibits federal government from requiring or encouraging federal contractors, subcontractors, licenses, or recipiants of federal assistance, to discriminate or grant preferences to individuals on the basis of their race, color, national origin or sex.
