Bill Clinton
The Clinton Presidency happened on January 20, 1993 where Bill Clinton won 43% of the popular vote. He was the 42nd president andwas also a democrat. He faced congress with democratic majorities that required reduced taxes for the rich, rights for the states, reducing federal funds and Medicare and federal rules, restoration of the Reagan Revolution social schedule for school prayer, anti-abortion, immigration restriction, neo-isolationism that was xenophobic, unilateralist, anti-internationalist, contrasting participation in UN peacekeeping missions. He was also known at the first baby boomer president.

President Clinton Signs NAFTA(1993):
President Clinton supported the ratification of the North American Free Trade Agreement by the United States senate. His opposition came from anti-trust repeblicans, protectionist democtats and supporters Ross Perot. The bill had 234 votes against 200 (132 Republicans and 102 Democrats voting in favor, 156 Democrats, 43 Republicans, and 1 independent against) in the House of Representatives. The treaty was ratified by the Senate and signed into a law by the President on 1 January 1994.
Bill Clinton Inagurated for Second Term(1996):
Bill Clinton was inaugurated for his second term on November 6,1996. He won 49.3% of the votes against Republican Bob Dale who only recived 40.7%. He was all so the first incumbent to re-win election since 1963. Clinton appointed Madeleine Albright on December 12th to trade Warren Christopher and become the first woman Secretary of State.
Lewinsky Scandal(1998):
The Lewinsky Scandal happened on January 21, 1998 when there was debate over the relationship between an intern at the White House named Monica Lewinsky and himself. After the elections in 1998 Clinton denied any relation that him and Lewinsky had. He was then voted to be impeached because of his actions, but was denied and stayed in office to finish out the rest of his term.
Brady Act Signed:
Following seven years of discuss under previous administrations, the President signed legislation requiring a background check before the purchase of a handgun and establishing a National Instant Check System. Since its performance, the Brady Law has helped to avoid a sum of more than 600,000 felons, fugitives, domestic abusers, and other excluded purchasers from buying guns.
